Dr. Katelyn J. Moore, DVM, Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Katelyn Moore is the founder and principal veterinarian at Moore Veterinary Services. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in Tennessee, where she was awarded the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Excellence in Large Animal & Equine studies. Dr. Moore holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Animal Sciences from The University of Findlay in Ohio. She attributes her dedication to large-animal medicine to her years in UF's esteemed Animal Science program.
Originally from Washington, Pennsylvania, Dr. Moore graduated with honors from Trinity High School in 2011, where she excelled academically and distinguished herself in fastpitch softball over four years.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Moore finds joy in playing softball and cherishes moments spent with her dogs, Bentley, Carter, and Cash, alongside her beloved horse, Snoopy.

Nicole Kendall, Lead Veterinary Technician

Nicole is a seasoned veterinary technician who partners with Dr. Moore in the field, efficiently managing farm calls and providing invaluable support in all aspects of veterinary care. She ensures the truck is well-equipped, excels in animal handling, and brings a wealth of talents to our practice.
Beyond her role as a vet tech, Nicole is also a Registered Nurse for humans. A proud graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, Pennsylvania, she now resides in Avella with her family.
Her passion for animals extends beyond the clinic; she is an accomplished equestrian who enjoys spending time with her beloved dogs, including Boomer, a rescue lab who holds a special place in her heart.

Paula Dicks, Receptionist
​& Clinical Assistant

Paula joined our team in 2022, assuming the role of full-time receptionist and clinical assistant. Her responsibilities include managing phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and overseeing front desk operations, contributing significantly to the smooth operation and success of our practice. A lifelong resident of Washington County, Paula previously served as a teacher at Faith Christian School in Washington and is a proud alumna of Trinity High School.
Paula has two dogs, a charcoal lab named Trigger and a rottweiler named Waylon Jennings!

Will Moore, Branding Coordinator &
​Part-Time Veterinary Technician

Will Moore is the self-appointed branding coordinator and part-time, volunteer vet assistant to Dr. Moore. He can be found in the field and occasionally in the clinic, assisting whenever called upon!
Will works for Washington Penn Plastic where he is a Quality Assurance Technician at their VBAT Plant. Will is a 2011 graduate of California University of PA and 2007 graduate of McGuffey High School.
Will is an elder at his church in Washington and enjoys being outdoors and camping!

Bentley the Rottweiler

Introducing Bentley, the seasoned Rottweiler and Dr. Moore's trusty sidekick on all escapades. Bentley isn't just any dog—he's got more certifications than a graduate student! He proudly holds the AKC Good Citizen title and is a certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs, Inc., specializing in bringing smiles to both kids and the elderly.
Hailing from the mean streets of Detroit (well, maybe not that mean since he's a sweetheart), Bentley started off as the runt of his litter but has since grown into a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Despite his roots, Bentley's not one to pick sides in the Michigan vs. Ohio State debate. He's all about spreading paws-itivity wherever he goes.
When he's not charming everyone he meets, Bentley enjoys leisurely walks, car rides with his head out the window, tearing through dog parks like a furry tornado, and munching on his favorite treat—carrots. At nine years young, Bentley's also a proud older brother to two adopted siblings, Cash and Carter, and holds the esteemed title of "multiple-time uncle" to several litters of adorable pups. With his infectious nub-wag and knack for making instant BFFs, Bentley embodies the spirit of a certified good boy!
